"HELLO"

I have this new song guys that I'm absolutely in love with! And their are a few factors why this is so. One reason why I love this song is that I just got engaged on my birthday three days ago. (Which makes the second happiest day of my life, following my son's birth). Another reason why this song has completely taken me by storm is because it is by one of my favorite artists, Beyonce'. The name of the song is Hello and you can find it on her latest cd, Sasha Fierce. And she is talking about how much she loves this guy and how she respects the way he takes care of the people around him and her. Beyonce' also talks about how he had her hooked at the time that he said Hello. My favorite part is when she says that he is her shelters her soul and he is her fire from the cold and that he doesnt have to try so hard for her to love him and without him her life just isn't the same. I really know just how she feels. I'm one of the people that believes that true love doesn't come around very often so when you have someone that changes your life aNd helps you appreciate things that are truly important, you should hold on to them. It feels god to know that you have someone in your corner that is going to serve as a support system in helping you make all your dreams come true. It is a beautiful thing when two peoples life intertwine just because they are looking for the ame thing in life........

Management

For the past four years my occupation has been assistant manager at an Urban clothing store here in Montgomery. My job is focused around providing customers with the latest fashionable merchandise that is sent to the store. But because I'm in management, it doesn't stop there. It is also my responsibilty to train other employees in customer service, inventory control, and visual merchandising to name a few important areas. This posistion is sometimes difficult to hold, because it comes with a lot of responsibilty. As a member of management, you are responsible for daily paperwork, meeting daily sales goals and keeping your staff motivated about selling. This is a great starter posistion for me because I dream of owning my own store one day. The training that I'm recieving right now will prepare me to meet my goals more quickly, because I will already know the right decisions to make to advance my business. The job comes with its ups and downs as I'm required to work 40+ hours a week, so it keeps me away from my family alot. But no good things come without hard work. You also have to be strong in handling customer complaints. I believe that it takes a special person to manage a group of people because your group has to respect you before you can lead them. There are certain qualities that I feel a manager must posses to be succesful. Among the important qualities of a good manager, are knowing how to effectively delegate work, keeping the lines of communication open with your staff, (and listening to them) . When people like you and respect you, they are usually better workers.

My Dream Maker

There is no joy in the world greater than having a child in my personal opinion. On October 22,2006 I gave birth to my first and only child (so far): at 3:47 pm at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Al. He was 5 lbs 2oz and 19 inches long. I truly believe that I haven't felt a joy quite like I did at 3:48 that day. It's a beautiful feeling to know that someone that you have waited on for 9 consecutive months has finally made an entrance into your world, and completely changes the way that you do things. Even better is the opportunity to watch them grow into little people that have their own ideas and ways of expressing them(ideas). The past two and a half years have been so fulfilling with my son, partner and lifelong friend to share lifes ups and downs with. He never ceases to amaze me with all the information that he obtains and applies to every day situations. His smile has the power to brighten up a day where everything else may be going wrong. And with him by my side, he serves as a constant reminder in the importance of me reaching for my goals and my dreams. Because I have learned that children do not learn by what you tell them, they learn by what you show them. It is my absolute goal in life to provide him with the best upbringing that I possibly can. Because he has transformed my whole life, and taught me to dream bigger, it is the least that I can do.

My Favorite Movie

Ever since I was a little girl, around the age of 5 or six, I have had the same favorite movie that I claim to be one of the best ever created. i feel this because my favorite movie keeps the hope alive- Hope that no matter who you are there is someone for you. I have always believed in fairy tales and I think that more is available to you if you believe and trust in whatever it is that you want to achieve. Having said that my favorite movie is Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. In the movie, she was a prostitute and he was a wealthy business man, but when their paths crossed, nothing could stop their destiny. Gere showed Roberts things she had never experienced and their relationship blossomed even under the circumstances. With his friends and her past, it was difficult for me to wish for her happy ending, but fate was on her side. What started out as a business deal turned into something more fulfilling for the both of them. When it was time for them to part ways because Richard had to leave town, Julia was very sad. But, as she was packing her bags to leave town herself, he pulled up and climbed the fire \escape, which was a big thing because he was afraid of heights and he rescued her just like she had explained to him that it had happened in her dreams. And im sure that they lived happily ever after.
